At Icon we have a passion for photography and photographic cards feature heavily in our card portfolio. We have an eclectic collection of photographic cards covering all photographic genres and themes, ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous; often funny, offbeat, quirky and irreverent. A well-composed photograph can evoke a strong emotional response from the viewer, whether it's capturing joy, sadness, awe, or empathy. Photography has the power to tell stories and convey narratives in a single frame, which makes it a perfect medium for cards.

Over the years we have been privileged to work with many wonderful photographers; from the beginning, we were lucky enough to work with Magnum Photos and have licensed images from iconic photographers like Bruce Gilden and Martin Parr. With a focus on careful editing to create a distinct identity and character for each collection, our photographic cards fall into two categories. Either featuring images in isolation or combining photography with type to broaden the appeal or change the way an image is perceived. Both directions rely on the power of photography to communicate a story or an emotion.
