Tom Mackie is one of our favourite landscape photographers, his stunning images always deliver maximum impact and perfect compositions.

Although Tom’s love of the Norfolk landscape is evident, his work  takes him all over the world and the results are well worth the travelling. He’s a frequent contributor to photography publications and regularly lectures to specialists in the field.

"Light is the key element to any photograph, then it's the composition. If you don't have good composition but great light, it's not going to hold together and vice-versa. But foremost it's the way the light plays across the landscape and then spotting that composition, that's the other key.”

We are ridiculously jealous of the lucky individuals who take part in his workshops, a term which unfairly describes the reality, in which he takes small groups to amazing locations like Iceland, Canada, Tuscany and imparts his wisdom and experience, so that they can improve their photographic skills. How cool is that?!
