Well would you believe it, Henries winner 2014! We were thrilled to hear we'd been nominated for three Henries awards this year, and we were pleased as punch when our name was read out as winners for the Best Words & Sentiments category for Life Is Sweet. Despite stiff competition, Life Is Sweet, our little star of a range, was judged to be the brightest. The Henries awards is a relatively new venture for Icon, but having first dipped our toes in the industry awards pond in 2012, so far we're dining out on a 100% success rate and have two Henries awards adorning our office.

Life Is Sweet is into it's third year now and it's going from strength to strength following the the two Henries awards it has received. It's a lifestyle, friendship, humour, photographic, quote range of greeting cards featuring  images of quirky kids doing the things which quirky kids do. The images evoke memories of carefree times and reflect the kookiness and innocent behaviour of little people. We can all relate to the expressions and actions of the children, especially if we have some of our own which get up to no good on a daily basis. Carefully edited images combined with uplifting, lighthearted words create perfect birthday cards for all ages.

We've even recently launched a collection of Life Is Sweet cards suitable for occasions and relations. It's all in a day's work for us to create alternative, original and funny greeting cards, but all the same it's very nice to have a shiny award to prove that we're rather good at it.
