Well what a lovely surprise that was! We are completely over the moon to have bagged ourselves a big shiny trophy from the Henries Awards 2017 last week. As ever, Progressive Greetings magazine threw a lavish ceremony in fancy London town to celebrate all things greeting cardy, and up for grabs was a number of the prestigious awards for various categories. The votes were cast earlier in the year by independent retailers, buyers, and other movers and the shakers of the industry, and they deemed our cards to be amongst the best.

So, what did we win for? Our shiny, brand new range Every Picture was voted top for the Contemporary Words & Sentiments category, which is a huge category and the competition was certainly very fierce. Naturally, we're completely in love with our range, but it always a big boost to know that esteemed members of the industry think so too.

Every Picture is created from sophisticated photography paired with contemporary lifestyle messages of friendship and positivity. The whole range has the distinct Icon stamp on it and it oozes class and originality, we're very proud of this one.

Sadly though, Pugsy Malone here, was the bridesmaid on this occasion. Although our lovely colour photography range Exposure was nominated for Best Photographic Range, we were just pipped at the post. But realistically, we wouldn't have been able to carry two awards home as they really do weigh a ton!

But all in all, we really had the most fantastic evening, what could be better than meeting up with suppliers and contemporaries, both new and old, and shamelessly talking shop over a few, (yeah right!), glasses of champagne and a vol-au-vent? Plus, to come home with a trophy from the highly acclaimed Henries Awards 2017 makes it all worthwhile.
