Contemporary has always been a bit of an enigmatic word used by lofty, cool designer types in the higher echelons of art and design, or arty types who spend their days pondering in galleries with their heads cocked on one side and their eyes half shut. The conception is that they all know what it means and you don’t. However, here in the flippant and flittery world of greeting card land, contemporary just means modern and original, something that Icon are by the bucket load. But whilst we like nothing better than to set trends and blaze trails, we are perfectly content and confident that our style is unique and inspirational. Our main passion is creating beautiful, contemporary greeting cards that are a joy to give as well as to receive.....sounds cheesy doesn't it, but it's actually quite true.
